Oh, it gets so cold when we stand in line
I feel invisible
Uh oh, I've disappeared again.
When I'm on the edge I feel invisible.
Warm to the touch am I.
I feel so cold inside.
You're cold inside.

'Cause they are the patrons of taking your passions and everything you love.

Oh, darkest night, your shade has infected my light!
Attempting to walk on my own again,
I feel like a stranger.
Oh, darkest night, your shade has infected my light!
I feel I've lost all hope in this fight.
I fear I'm in danger.

Dissolve into walls, it's enticing.
To be in your eyes is inviting.
Sink into my skin like a ghost.

Fine lines fade into the page again.
Is your tracing hand growing weary?
Pencil marks chased away by erasers end.
One more to the list of abandoned men.
Be still, for you're out of focus.
Hush now, 'cause your voice is soundless.
It's what you're led to believe.

Yeah! I'm erasing the ink with my fingers!
I am losing the tone of my voice!
They can take back our hearts,
They can take back our heads, but no one's gonna stop us.
Oh yeah!

Dissolve into walls, it's enticing.
To be in your eyes is inviting.
Just let your light shine!

Dissolve into walls, it's enticing.
To be in your eyes is inviting.
Sink into my skin like a ghost.

Memory"Incandescent" is about losing sight of your true self. A lot of good people get mixed in with tough crowds or negative people and become like their piers. It's about no longer being an individual, but a copy of those around you. Only when you find yourself can you be truly Incandescent.
