"Waiting For You" as written by Susanna Lee Hoffs, Thomas F. Kelly and William E. Steinberg....
And I tried to be myself (and I’m waiting for you)
And I tried to come around (and I’m waiting for you)
And I’ve tried to leave my way
(and I’m waiting for you, and I’m waiting)
I don’t want to spend the rest of my days
Living in a world confusing to me
I don’t want to have it all
I don’t want to bring the trouble I bring
And I tried to make a start (and I’m waiting for you)
And I tried to come around (and I’m waiting for you)
And I arrived on my own
(and I’m waiting for you, and I’m waiting)
Spend a little bit of time with my baby
Spend a little bit of time with my other half
Spend a little bit of time with my baby
Spend a little bit of time with my other half
And I tried to be myself (and I’m waiting for you)
And I tried to build my home (and I’m waiting for you)
And I tried not to come undone
(and I’m waiting for you)
And in the middle of night, I don’t know who I am
When you turn off the lights, I don’t know where I am
Sometimes at night I just drive around
(and I’m waiting)

General CommentPretty cryptic song. I like the sound of it, how it repeats. I think it's a guy who is not satisfied in his relationship, he's confused, it keeps him up at night, etc, and he's waiting for the girl to clarify things.
