So quick to cry. Give it all up. Toss it aside.
Sure, it will deteriorate eventually out of your mind but you're left no better.
Why not build it into a mountain you can climb?

Take your bags and dump them on the floor. Now do it some more.
Quickly you will see that your arms won't be so tired and you'll have all the making of a fort.

Conflicts need resolutions. They are a catalyst and I'm collecting lemons.
A parrot flies a thousand miles only to find he's gone the wrong direction.
He thinks if this is where I am, then this I is where I belong.

My InterpretationI have to thank this band and especially this song for getting me out of depression and preventing me from making probably the biggest mistake of my life.
I was sitting in class during break shivering and almost puking of anxiety, I had argued with my parents and I was close to giving up on university and quitting when I started listening to songs on my phone when this came on.
I couldn't pay attention to anything but the song for it's entire duration and the lyrics hit me like bullets whilst the melody gave suppression fire. Everything was clear, I survived the war. And here's my interpretation of the lyrics.

    >So quick to cry. Give it all up. Toss it aside.
    >Sure, it will deteriorate eventually out of your mind but you're left no better.
    Pretty self-explanatory.
    >Why not build it into a mountain you can climb?
Why not use those things you tossed aside and make the best of them?
    >Take your bags and dump them on the floor. Now do it some more.
    >Quickly you will see that your arms won't be so tired and you'll have all the making of a fort.
Your arms don't get tired because your problems and stress aren't that problematic anyway and you will realize that even after doing all that you still have some energy left and you can always use it for the better. Giving up and getting stressed while you're at it will only imprison you even further and you'll find yourself in a bigger hole than you were.
    >Conflicts need resolutions. They are a catalyst and I'm collecting lemons.
You need to get over your problems and resolve your conflicts, you can't just give up at any given opportunity because one day giving up won't be an option. They are a catalyst in the sense that they are what makes changing possible and you don't want to end up collecting all the lemons(opportunities) that life has given you to improve or change.
    >A parrot flies a thousand miles only to find he's gone the wrong direction.
    >He thinks if this is where I am, then this I is where I belong.
Don't dwell on the past, don't have regrets, don't rely on comfort, make the most of what you still have.

Thanks for reading and I hope this song can help other people too.
