"Little Lady" as written by Ed Sheeran and Justin Smith Uzomba....
Listen, Little Lady this is just the worst way to spend your birthday.
It's 30 degrees Thursday, you work late.
You was with a perv making dirty, fake love in his Mercedes.
Maybe the word, rape, sums up events that take place every night.
You wanna get up, but you know your legs will ache if you try

Song MeaningThis song is about a 13 year old girl who is shipped to her Uncle's house in London by her mom so that she can have a higher education. Instead, her Uncle gets her addicted to heroin so he can make her become a prostitute in order to make money.
Well one night after having sex with yet another strange man, she realizes her jaw has been hurt. So instead of going to the clinic(which was either to check for STDs or have a pregnancy test or something like that) she decides to go to the Whittington(a hospital in London) to have her injury looked at. She's hesitant to do this though because she knows her punter(her pimp) will be angry at her for doing so because then the cops will get involved.
She ends up going though because she can't hide what happened to her with make-up. She makes up a lie to tell just in case the doctor's decide not to pretend they don't know what happened. But of course, the nurse gets suspicious and doesn't believe the girl's story, so she called in the police. She started freaking out in the room even though the cops assured her he wouldn't let anyone hurt her again. She stays silent, but likes that he's talking to her like she's more than a dity whore. He gives her a card with his phone # on it before he leaves, begs her to use because if she doesn't there's no way he can help her.
She leaves to give her pimp all the money she owes him. But her pimp follows her home and because she's been gone so long, wants to know where she's been. Scared and nervous, she drops her bags on the floor. Even though there's a mess, all her pimp sees is the card the cop gave her. He gets angry at her for going to the cops so he murders her and dumps her body in the streets.
This song is so sad, but I love it<3

Song MeaningThe song, at least I believe, tells the story of a young girl who was a prostitute and a heroin addict as well. As far as I've heard, it happens quite a lot to young women. The young girl is 13, as it says in the line "all because she got a card on her 13th birthday".

The girl got sent to her uncle, the pimp, by her mother who sent her to study, which says that she wasn't from England. Whittington is a hospital in London, and the clinic she was booked for was probably a sexual health clinic to check for STDs, to make sure her pimp's customers wouldn't want their money back.

A nurse at Whittington obviously was suspicious of her injuries and called the police, who talked to her. She thought no one could help her, so she just listened and heard the reasons why she needed to bring her uncle to justice. When she went home, her uncle found her and threatened her to tell him where she had been, carrying a large knife. Her handbag dropped, and he saw the card that the policeman had given her, which angered him. The uncle brutally murdered his niece, "all because she got a card on her 13th birthday".

It is very sad, and it makes me realize how much other people are suffering outside my own life.

General CommentI legit started to cry when he said it was her 13th birthday. I just turned 14 and I know that other people are suffering out there but this song made it sound so real and she was younger. I get it why A-team is a lot more popular than this because A-Team is very coded and discreet, but this isn't and that is really brave of them for going all the way out there to tell a story. Everyone wants to believe that everyone is happy, Ed and Mikill Pain really challenge that. No matter how sad this story is, it's real and pretending it isn't is not going to change anything.
Much love to Ed Sheeran for bringing this story to life <3
