Is there time to wish that none of this had happened now or at all?
There's another place that I would rather be in now we're at home
If you wanna say that I'll shoo it away
You don't know what to feel and you don't know what to do, I know

Tell me could I be that writing you things could change what I say
I don't know what to do and I don't know what you're gonna say I think I'm all the way
And tomorrow was the same day wanna go the same way
Everyone has got their reasons and I got my own

And you accept that it was never like this
I, I wanted you to stay for just one kiss

Riding in the side car waiting to pretend you're still on the verge
Listen to the backseat radio it seems as though I want to feel it all
If you wanna sound I wish I could've been bad
Never did describe to you the things that I once saw

And you accept that this was out of control
I, I wanted you to know this was on my own

For sure I knew you wanted my opinion
I was never gonna peer through

One of us feeling that there's one of us feeling
You saw my soul
Don't even know
You are my love
Don't even know

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
