"Saviour" as written by Erlend Marius Mokkelbost, Anders Nilsen Tjore, Haakon-marius Pettersen, Marius Simonsen and Simon Anthony Walker....
I never meant to be the one who kept you from the dark
But now I know my wounds are sewn
Because of who you are
I will take this burden on and become the holy one

But remember I am human
And I'm bound to sing this song
So hear my voice remind you not to bleed
I am here a savior
Will be there
When you are feeling alone, oh
A savior for all that you do
So you live freely without their harm

So here I write my lullaby to all the lonely ones
Remember as you learn to try to be the one you love
So I can take this pen and teach you how to live
What is left unsaid, the greatest gift I give

So hear my voice remind you not to bleed
I am here

A savior
Will be there
When you are feeling alone, oh
A savior
For all that you do
So you live freely without their harm

A savior
Will be there
When you are feeling alone, oh
A savior
For all that you do
So you live freely without their harm

When I hear your cries
Praying for light
I will be there

When I hear your cries
Praying for light
I will be there

My InterpretationHe knows that his song will reach many people's ears and will touch many people's hearts if they actually listen to the words. He's telling them that they don't have to feel alone that they don't have to feel like they have to "bleed" so to speak, die. They don't have to hurt. Even though, I don't really think, he really meant to be any knid of "Saviour" he has become one to some people because of his songs.
"But remember I am human" -- he's telling people that he is still just a regular person at the same time too.
All through the song he's telling people they're not alone, they don't have to be afraid, that he "hear[s their] cries".

General CommentThis is Andy's song to his fans. Andy said himself it was dedicated to and for his fans :). He's basically saying he will always be there for you during your deepest, darkest, saddest moments and if you need someone to lean on or look forward to he is always going to be there no matter what. It's like his promise to you. If you're a religious person it could also be about God, but that wasn't what Andy was trying to make it about. It's a very beautiful song. One of my favorites off the new album actually <3

General CommentI will forever love this song with all of my heart. I'm getting a tattoo of their symbol and it says savior on the top. :) And another one that says "Never Give In" :)
