Let's say were sorry,
Before it's too late,
Give forgiveness a chance
Turn the anger into water
Let it slip through our hands

We all bleed red,
We all taste rain,
All fall down,
Lose our way,
We all say words we regret,
We all cry tears, we all bleed red

If we're fighting, we're both losing,
We're just wasting our time
Because my scars,
They are your scars and your world is mine

You and I, we all bleed red,
We all taste rain, all fall down, lose our way
We all say words, we regret,
We all cry tears, we all bleed red

Sometimes we're strong, sometimes we're weak,
Sometimes we're hurt and it cuts deep
We live this life, breath to breath,
We're all the same, we all bleed red

Let's say we're sorry' before its too late

We all bleed red,
All taste rain, all fall down, lose our way
We all say words, we regret,
We all cry tears, all bleed red

Sometimes we're strong, sometimes we're weak,
Sometimes we're hurt and it cuts deep
We live this life, breath to breath,
We're all the same, we all bleed red

Simple song with a simple meaning. We all make mistakes and hurt others we love when we don't mean to. Nobody's perfect. We're all human, and we all bleed red.

My son and I had a HUGE fight one day and I heard this song a few days later. We had not spoken to each other for over a week, I sat here and cried and wondered if he was sad too. I sent him text message and ased him to please listen to this song beforeit too late, he wrote back what do you mean BEFORE its oo late? I said I don't know. Anyay we made up and 2 days later he was involved in serious motorcycle accdent that left him on life support for a month and was given less than half a percent chance of surviving. I did not know if he had listened to it so I played it and held him the best I could wth all the machines hooked up to him. He did pull through THANKS BE TO GOD. He knows what I was trying to say. Life is too short to live angry at anyone.....

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
