"The Day Is Coming" as written by and James Edward Olliges Jr....
You need it, that's for sure
You receive, but always want more
Take it for granted, this lifetime and what's up ahead
But the day is coming

The day is near
The day is coming
You know what I mean
The day is coming
The way is clear
The day has come

Bang bang, on the door
You opened, not knowing what for
If opportunity, rears its head
Will you answer, or stay home in bed

Hey babe
'Cause the day is coming
The day is near
The day is coming
You know what I mean
The day is coming
The way is clear
The day has come

Hey babe
'Cause the day is coming
The day is near
The day is coming
You know what I mean
The day is coming
The way is clear
The day has come

General CommentThis song has a religious tone to it, for me. The day of judgement is coming, as is for everyone at some point in time. We make our choices and are they the right ones? No one knows for sure. We all have opportunities to do good or bad things and some take the opportunities to do things and some don't they just take the easy way (stay home in bed)

General CommentGreat forward thinking song. Sounds as if Mr. James is speaking to someone who longs or needs change, but for reasons (perhaps insecurity, frightened or just lethargic) isn't quick to jump at opportunities. "You need it, that's for sure. You receive, but always want more." This line depicts a person who takes what they can get, while avoiding any effort.

The lyrics on this album are easily deciphered, yet they hold such powerful meaning. Most of Circuital seems to promote the idea of moving forward in life, not waiting or passing up one's potential and making the most out of everything.

    But the day is coming

He talks about time. You need it, receive but always want more. Procrastination.

    The day is near
    The day is coming
    You know what I mean
    The day is coming
    The way is clear
    The day has come

But the days is coming. The day of your death. In the first song of the album, he talks about how we do use our time here, and about some motivations.

    Bang bang, on the door
You opened, not knowing what for
    If opportunity, rears its head
Will you answer, or stay home in bed

This paragraph is prety self explanatory.
