(whisper)
this is a calling on you
the needle drew, your needle drew...
the first blood of my war
the needle drew, your needle drew...
the life right out of you
the needle drew, your needle drew...
and all I found was you
the first blood of my war
I had forced you, I had forced you...
in years of pain
the needle drew, your needle drew...
the first blood of my war
the needle drew, your needle drew...
the first blood of my war
the needle drew, your needle drew...
the first blood of my war
this is a calling on you
the needle drew, your needle drew...
in years of pain
the needle drew, your needle drew...
the life right out of you
the needle drew, your needle drew

you have been touched
by the hand
accept your fate
now lead the way

you have been touched
by the hand
accept your fate
now lead the way

ascend
and rise
above
the whole

ascend
and rise
above
the whole

this is a calling on you
this is a calling on you

eeooeeoo
(I will beat you without)
(this is a calling on you)
(I will beat you without)
(I will beat you without)

I will beat you without anger
I will draw from your eyelid a tear
without anger
draw a tear

bare your arms
drive your nails through my palms
when we meet
drive your nails through my feet
I've given you something real
you thought that you'd never feel
I've given you something so real
a wound that you'll never heal

Song MeaningThe song has a dark story. It has something to do with drugs and abuse. Maybe there is a couple or two friends and the other one introduces the other to drugs. The druguse escalates and the relationship between the people goes bad. The other begins to dominate the weaker one and in the end the weaker one just wants everything to end, wants to be cruxified or he/she sees that the dominator is cruxifying the other. The dominator is bitter and thinks the other one owes him everything and maybe even tries to kill the weak one.
