I'm cutting off my fingers one by one for you
I'm cutting off my fingers one by one for you
I'm cutting off my fingers one by one for you
I'm cutting off my fingers one by one for you
needle and thread, a ten bead necklace for you
needle and thread, a ten bead necklace for you
needle and thread, a ten bead necklace for you
needle and thread, a ten bead necklace for you
a ten bead necklace for you

you have been smiling for the
first and the last time now
you have been smiling for the
first and the last time now
you have been smiling for the
first and the last time now
you have been smiling for the
first and the last time now

chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now

chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now
chains encircle my broken wrists, we can get out of them now

Song MeaningThe man in this song is a fiend. Someone is his obsession and he tries anything to get his or her attention. In the end he kills his obsession and is captured and shackled.

The song has also been titled "Ritual I" since there is another song titled "Ritual II", but they dropped the "I" in the Mass III-II + Mass IIII compilation album.
