"Yvonne Gets Dumped" as written by John Mark Eitzel, Mark William Pankler, Daniel Jons Pearson, J. Bradley Johnson and Matthew Norelli....
Her head hits the pillow
A shallow pool
Between the rivers of alcohol where it's always cool
The car sounds outside are quiet like her pretty jokes
She always forgets when she forgets
When she forgets the whole world

The heart starts out brave but it can't hide
Despair leaves you breathless like the endless tide
Yeah her head hits the pillow
The river of faces
Then the music starts and we take our places
The last look on her face was the purest memory
Rain falls in this place and she forgets
When she forgets the whole world forgets

The measure of you is how well you keep your pride
Despite your worthlessness
Oh baby, the measure of you
Is how well
You keep your pride

General CommentI can't help but feel like he's the one dumping Yvonne, and that this might be a semi-depiction of the things he told her in that breakup. It sounds like Yvonne really deserves it, or at least Eitzel believes she does.
