"Exit Song" as written by and Deryck Jason Whibley....
There's nothing left to say, yeah
'Cause you don't wanna try
And I don't want the pain

There's nothing left to do, yeah
I don't want the lies
And you don't feel the same

It's time to let you go
And bow out of the game
And maybe we will find
The answers through the blame

It's time for me to go
It's time for me to go, oh

General Commentthis song is a way to say goodbye to someone, like her ex. the author says "There's nothing left to say" and "There's nothing left to do". this means that the relationship they had cant't be saved and he is tired of trying to work it out.
