"Memo" as written by and Adam Harrison Piers John Towler Hewitt....
I never know now what you want
You say nothing if you say it all
Never want to take a stand
Be outspoken in a spoken plan

Listening, I'm not listening, to
Listening, I'm not listening, to

Indecision into stop
Stand off if you can give it up
? on your own
To love for love and love alone

Listening, I'm not listening, to
Listening, I'm not listening, to you

A cold heart
Hits me
Just choose
Between

We'll chase
Both ends
'Til both hearts
Wear thin

You don't listen,
You don't listen,
Man you don't listen

You don't listen,
You don't listen,
Man you don't listen

You don't listen,
You don't listen,
Man you don't listen

You don't listen,
You don't listen,
Man you don't listen

My InterpretationI think this song is about isolating yourself; tuning out everyone around you because you possibly feel insignificant to the world. He uses a possible relationship as an example in this song.

I think the actual lyrics instead of "you don't listen, in you don't listen" is actually "you don't listen, man you don't listen". I think that might be a quote of someone who was potentially his girlfriend saying over and over again that he doesn't listen and he's distant from the rest of the world.
