"Time-Bomb" as written by Matt Squire, Alex Gaskarth, Pierre Bouvier and Charles Comeau....
Oh-uh-oh-oh
Oh-uh-oh-oh

Oh-uh-oh-oh
Oh-uh-oh-oh

From the get-go, I knew this was hard to hold
Like a crash, the whole thing spun out of control
Oh, on a wire, we were dancing
Two kids, no consequences
Pull the trigger without thinking
There's only one way down this road

It was like a time bomb set into motion
We knew that we were destined to explode
And if I had to pull you out of the wreckage
You know I'm never gonna let you go
We're like a time bomb, gonna lose it
Let's diffuse it
Baby, we're like a time bomb, but I need it
Wouldn't have it any other way

Well, there's no way out of this, so let's stay in
Every storm that comes also comes to an end
Oh, resistance is useless
Just two kids stupid and fearless
Like a bullet shooting the lovesick
There's only one way down this road

It was like a time bomb set into motion
We knew that we were destined to explode
And if I had to pull you out of the wreckage
You know I'm never gonna let you go
We're like a time bomb, gonna lose it
Let's diffuse it
Baby, we're like a time bomb, but I need it
Wouldn't have it any other way

Got my heart in your hands
Like a time bomb ticking
It goes off, we start again
When it breaks, we fix it
Got your heart in my hands
Like a time bomb ticking
We should know better
But we won't let go

It was like a time bomb set into motion
We knew that we were destined to explode
And if I had to pull you out of the wreckage
You know I'm never gonna let you let me go
We're like a time bomb, gonna lose it
Let's diffuse it
Baby, we're like a time bomb, but I need it
Wouldn't have it any other way

Oh-uh-oh-oh
Oh-uh-oh-oh

General CommentI feel like this song is about a relationship that both of the people went into, knowing it most likely wouldn't work out. It seems like there are a lot of blurred lines, but they do not know how to give it up.

General CommentThis is an interview with Alex Gaskarth about this song, so this is legitimately what it's about.
[All Time Low’s new single is ‘Time Bomb.’ What’s the story behind that song?
The song is about two people torn apart by their own infatuation with one another. It’s one of those things I think a lot of people have felt, that kind of relationship where everything is so strong, but the relationship itself becomes volatile. It’s about the struggle to hold a relationship like that together, and the fight and the desire to make it work.]

General CommentI'm sorry, you must have a bad recoding or something. I think some of these lyrics are wrong, and I can make out some of the ones you've left blank. Is it possible for me to edit them? If not, should I leave another comment with corrections (no guarentees that they're 100% accurate though) so you can edit them? Or would that be a waste of time?

    General CommentCouple of small changes:

'It was like a Time Bomb set in motion,
We knew that we were destined to explode'

'Like a bullet shooting a message'

    Lyric Correctionsome lyrics are wrong:
Got my heart in your hands, like a time bomb ticking, it goes of, we start again, when it breaks, we fix it, got your heart in my hands, like a time bomb ticking, we should know, that I love you, wont let go.

Going to see these tonight... cant wait :D :D :D they are soooo good :D

General CommentI love this song. It's lovely, and so catchy.

I think this song has two possible meanings:

    1) It could be about a lover, one that you've had since the very beginning, I don't know, but, I think the second meaning is much more likely.

    2) It's about Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat's friendship, and the progression of the band. It's lines like "If I had to pull you out of the wreckage, you know I'm never gonna let you go" which are really meaningful. The "two kids" will be Alex and Jack, as they've been best friends since they were kids. But also "Span out of control"/"We were always destined to explode"/"There's no way out of this so let's stay in" is evidently the success of the band. "When it breaks, we fix it" will be when the band go through troubles, but they see them through.

So I absolutely love this song. This is why I love All Time Low. They are honest to a fault when it comes to lyrics. Such a lovely, beautiful song :)

My Interpretationto me, this song is about a relationship that keeps messing up and they couple keep breaking up and getting back together but they wouldn't want it with anyone else or they can't stop doing it no matter how much it hurts.
"It goes off; we start again when it breaks, we fix it. got your heart in my hands like a time bomb ticking. We should know better but we won't let go."

General CommentI agree with nikki24 on this one, but paperprincess' #2 seems pretty plausible as well.

On a side note, I love the line "And if I had to pull you out of the wreckage you know I'm never gonna let you let me go". Fantastic.

Lyric CorrectionI love this song :D but am I the only person on the planet who thinks its "like a bullet shooting elastic"? It totally sounds like that. Thats what I thought it was the first time I heard it. Plus, doesnt it make more sense? Because if you shoot elastic, there IS only one way down that road, and that is the bullet bouncing back and killing you. Feel free to correct me, though <3 ATL
