“Hey Raoul, what you doin’ tonight?”
“Oh, I’m gonna hook up the BetaMax to the microwave and watch some hot TV.”
“I’m goin’ to Palm Springs!”
“That’s great. You people have to work for a living, we don’t—here’s why!”

I got equipment and a van and I want to start a band with daddy’s money (yeah…sure)
I’ll pick out a shiny new guitar and a girl to do PR with daddy’s money (oh boy)
Listen, I got a house in Malibu, sixteen tracks out by the pool with daddy’s money (you know what)
We won’t practice every day, but we’ll make it anyway with daddy’s money (sure we will)

Daddy’s money (woo!), daddy’s money (x2)

We’ll go to all our shows in a Bentley or a Rolls, daddy’s money (boy, it’ll be fun)
The crowd will be up on their feet once we’ve bought up every seat with daddy’s money
You can get what you want, it’s so easy (sure it is) when your pockets are stuffed with daddy’s money, daddy’s money

“Play it, Elliot, play!”

If our reviewer takes a poke, then we’ll buy him off with (*sniff*), daddy’s money (sure we will, I want some too!)
We’ll hang out and make a scene, get ourselves in magazines, daddy’s money
You see, we’ll be on records and TV, they’ll name a lunchbox after me with daddy’s money (oh boy, it’s that simple)
You see, it’s not how good you play, but how much you can pay with daddy’s money (ha ha ha ha ha ha)

“Money, money, money, money, money, money, money,” etc.
“Daddy, dear, for me, buy that record company”
Daddy’s money, woo!
“You always make a flash when you splash that stash of cash”
“Go on the road, he’ll pay the tour”
“We like to rock, he’s got the roll”
Daddy’s money, woo!
Daddy’s money, woo!
Daddy’s money, woo!

General CommentThis is about a bunch of rich kids. Who do what ever they want because of "DADDY'S MONEY"(WOO). My favorite Ogden Edsl song.

General CommentEven though it's not offensive in the traditional sense, it would not be a stretch for me to say that this song sickens me even more than "Dead Puppies" and "Kinko the Clown" do.
