Don't say goodbye to me too fast.
Even thought I'm fast asleep.
Try your best to hold on to the past.
You wasted it all on me.

They chase us around the hallways and sometimes i swear that i see.
Know that I'm here for you always.
A ghost of you and me.
Wasted it all on me.

I know you got hands of stone,
Crush everything I've ever known including my bones when
you left them for the unknown

My InterpretationThey chase us around all the hallways.
(Sometimes I swear that I see.)
Know that I'm here for you always.
    (Ghosts of you and me.)

I believe the alternate lines are related. "Sometimes I swear that I see ghosts of you and me."

Part of me also thinks that "When you left home for the unknown" means that someone passed away. By saying hands of stone, he is implying that the deceased's touch and their memories together weigh on him like stone.
