There are those among us
That all find themselves distorted by choice

This is a cures to humanity
This is not how you were meant to be
Take my hand I will lead thee to where you need to be And when you wake you shall be purified and free!

So trapped by their addictions
What about the ones you love?
Don't they mean anything, anything at all?
They all find themselves distorted by a choice

Put faith back in your heart
Don't let it leave your side

No longer will you hurt!
No longer will you age!
No longer will you fear!
No longer will you cry!

There are those among us
That find themselves compelled to change
They know who they are
They know who they are
Who will you be?
Who will you be?

General CommentI think it's about people that live without a belief. And to me I see this as Christianity,
"Take my hand I will lead thee to where you need to be And when you wake you shall be purified and free!" When you become Saved (Accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior), you are purified of your sins and you feel free.

    "So trapped by their addictions
What about the ones you love?
Don't they mean anything, anything at all?
They all find themselves distorted by a choice"
Addictions represents transgressions/sins and he asks about the ones you love, and if you will try to save them too because they are "distorted" which I think of it as "damned" to hell.

"Put faith back in your heart
Don't let it leave your side"
Being saved requires faith and to be committed, so don't lose what you have.

    "No longer will you hurt!
    No longer will you age!
    No longer will you fear!
    No longer will you cry!"
In Heaven you have no pain, age, fear, and sorrow.

    "There are those among us
That find themselves compelled to change
    They know who they are
    They know who they are
    Who will you be?
    Who will you be?"
Christians are to spread the word to others. This is saying that christians should be seen different and stand out. Then it questions "who will you be?" Asking what your choice is either in religion, or Heaven or Hell.

    General CommentAmazing band, amazing song.

This song seems to talk about how people only try to go into careers that give them money, and not by what they love. they are 'distorted by choice' so they dont have a choice to do what they want either.

And maybe this is saying if you do what you want you will 'no longer' have any negativities come your way.

General CommentGreat band, love the instrumentals and vocals. The lyrics though, another Christian band spreading their self-righteous perception on life, drives me nuts. Their well written, but shit man, I'm getting tired of these Jesus freaks trying to convert others through music. I guess it's smart, but can I listen to one band who talks about issues that actually matter aside from "OMG don't lose your faith!"? Didn't Underoath and all their knock-off screamo bands cover that aspect 5 years ago? We have an economic crises, a plethora of natural disasters, oil spills, nuclear reactors imploding, civil wars in the Middleast and genocide in Africa, but all they could think of was this?.. Nevermind. At least they're music is undeniably addicting and incredibly well done. God dammit it pains me to say, these bastards have talent.
