Water You turned into wine
Opened the eyes of the blind
There's no one like You
None like You
Into the darkness You shine
Out of the ashes we rise
There's no one like You
None like You

Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer, awesome in power
Our God, our God

Into the darkness you shine
Out of the ashes we rise
There's no one like You
None like You

Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer, awesome in power
Our God, our God
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer, awesome in power
Our God, our God

And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
Then what could stand against?

Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer, awesome in power
Our God, our God
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer, awesome in power
Our God, our God

And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
What could stand against?
What can stand against? (what could stand)

"Our God" is about how God isn’t the first choice to worship but you should always come back to him whenever in need.At the end of the song, the lyrics repeats “ And if our God is for us “ to exemplify that God is really there always just not in the time of need and worship but every second of the day. Miracles happen no matter where you are and what you are doing and what life throws against you. Miracles are there at God’s fingertips. All you have to do is believe and have faith. Faith is the key to guide you in life ."Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God you are higher than any other. Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, Our God! Our God”. This quote represent how God will heal us when we are in need and he has the power to make our lives better.

The song "Our God" conveys how God isn’t the first choice to worship but you should always come back to him whenever you are in need.At the end of the song, the lyrics repeats “ And if our God is for us” to exemplify that God is really always there and not just in the time of need and worship but every second of the day. God should be always your first choice and you need to believe that God is really there for us and he will do anything to make our lives easier and not to burden us with many troubles. God does all that he can in his power to let us be on this earth. He had the ultimate sacrifice when he surrendered his life so that we could live. Miracles happen no matter where you are and what you are doing and what life throws against you. Miracles are there at God’s fingertips. All you have to do is believe and have faith. Miracles happen everyday because a miracle is defined as “an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is described to a supernatural cause”. We live in a rich place in the world that we might take miracles that happen everyday for granted. We need to live a frugal lifestyle, we need to realize that everyone doesn’t have the luxury we do, we need to enjoy every moment and everything we own. Everything is available today, no matter what you are going through and no matter what you are facing, you need to know that when you work hard you can count on god to guide you to your future. Faith is the key to guide you in life ."Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God you are higher than any other. Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, Our God! Our God”. This quote represent how God will heal us when we are in need and he has the power to make our lives better. Faith is a big part of our lives. Many people use faith to get through the day. This song “Our God” gives people a sense of pride that God is really real and we have an afterlife too look forward too. Faith can shape a person to someone completely different. People who have faith are more well rounded and they will go far in life, while if you don’t believe in anything and you feel that you have no use in this world you are more likely to have depression and it is easier for you to fall in the cracks. I feel that “Our God” declares the Christian faith and makes people feel that they have some use in this world and there is something to live for in this world and they will have somewhere else to go even though they have made mistakes after they pass away. It matters if you learn from your mistakes and don’t make them again because no one in this world is perfect on their first try, Everyone gets better by practicing, people have better faith when they go to church and they believe in what they are hearing and declaring during the mass. The Tone in “Our god is very uplifting and cheerful. The song shows that God can make us feel happy or sad depending on him. This song is very uplifting saying that God is always there for us when we are in need. We are always welcome to talk to God, and he always available all times of the day. Imagery gives this song another perspective and a new meaning to the song. When you think about the words, you realize that God is everywhere you go and and all you have to do is pray and God will lead the way. In the beginning of the song it states” Water you turn into wine, Opened the eyes of the blind”, it refers to how during holy communion we drink the wine and we open our eyes to receive God into our bodies.Once we receive God into our bodies every week we feel refreshed and feel that God has given us a second chance so we can learn from our mistakes. That imagery makes the song stand out to any Christian to something that they can relate and it makes the song more meaningful for all Christian listeners.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
