"Julius" as written by and Shawn Glassford Keil Corcoran....
Now I wait alone
For death to come
Faded pictures
So I know
Nowhere to go

Picture your body
Hearing your voice
Fall into your eyes

Not scared of death
No, I know

Picture your body
Hearing your voice
Fall into your eyes
Your eyes

    Lyric CorrectionNow I wait alone
    For death to come
    Faded pictures
    So I know
    Nowhere to go

    So I don't
    Picture your body
    Hearing your voice
    And fall into your eyes
    Your eyes

    Through crooked woods
    The morning light
    Faded pictures
    In my mind
    Not scared of death
    No, I know

    Picture your body
    Hearing your voice
    And fall into your eyes
    Your eyes

    Fall into your eyes
    Your eyes

This is still an amazingly incredible song... my favorite off the album next to Mona Vegas.

Song MeaningIn an interview, Joshua said this song was about his grandfather waiting to die after his grandmother passed. He also said his grandfather keeps dozens of pictures of his deceased wife all over the house, which inspired the line "Fall into your eyes." According to Josh, he's been waiting over ten years. Perhaps his grandfather's name is Julius? The story behind the song is much like my grandmother's. When her husband died, she kept pictures of him everywhere, and is still waiting for death to reunite her. She's been waiting two years so far.
