"Whatcha Gonna Do" as written by Brett Warren, Brad Warren, Austin Winkler and Ross Hanson....
I'm living life with no regrets
They're on their way but ain't here yet
I just left Las Vegas in bad, bad shape
I only call home if I get the chance
Every other night a new romance
Wake up, just in time to miss the day
And I'm talking to the man in the mirror
And I think I heard him say

Whatcha gonna do
When the whiskey ain't working no more
And life don't feel like before
Whatcha gonna do
Whatcha gonna do
When the ride ain't coming no more
Nobody's beatin' down your door
Whatcha gonna do

I've been down too low
Down in the streets
But I'm high enough to make believe
That I ain't ever gonna hit the ground
The one that got away from me
Every now and then she calls to see
If I'm alive or plan to settle down
Well I called her drunk last night
And I think I heard her say

Whatcha gonna do
When the whiskey ain't working no more
And life don't feel like before
Whatcha gonna do
Whatcha gonna do
When the ride ain't coming no more
Nobody's beatin' down your door
Whatcha gonna do

I can't sleep and I can't hide
Because the voices in my head are getting louder
Getting louder every night
I'm living life with no regrets
They're on their way but ain't here yet

[Chorus: x3]\
Whatcha gonna do
When the whiskey ain't working no more
And life don't feel like before
Whatcha gonna do

My InterpretationI don't like Hinder, but I love this song.

I think it means pretty much "where are you gonna go from here? You can't run from everything forever."

Pretty much you're down on your luck, been drinking a lot to get your troubles away, but you can't run from them forever (I'm living life with no regrets, they're on their way but ain't here yet". One day you won't be able to hide from your problems through drinking (Whiskey ain't working no more), and you'll have to solve your problems on your own because everybody's gotten tired of your shit (Your ride ain't coming no more, nobody's beatin' down your door).

Just my two cents, take it as you may, but that's the feeling this song invokes from me.

General CommentThis is probably the best song from the album. The title track is good too, but no one's commented. The regrets are "on their way but ain't here yet."
