"Super Bass" as written by Roahn Hylton, Esther Dean, Onika Miraj, Daniel Johnson and Jeremy Coleman....
This one is for the boys with the boomin' system,
Top down, AC, with the coolin' system
When he come up in the club, he be blazin' up
Stacks on deck like he savin' up
And he ill, he real, he might got a deal
He pop bottles, and he got the right kind of build
He cold, he dope, he might sell coke
He always in the air, but he never fly coach
He a muthafuckin' trip, trip, sailor of the ship, ship

When he make it drip, drip kiss him on the lip, lip
That's the kind of dude I was lookin' fo'
And yes, you'll get slapped if you're lookin', ho
I said, "Excuse me, you're a hell of a guy
I mean my, my, my, my, you're like pelican fly
I mean, you're so shy, and I'm loving your tie
You're like slicker than the guy with the thing on his eye, oh!"

Somebody please tell him who the eff I is
I am Nicki Minaj, I mack them dudes up
Back coupes up, and chuck the deuce up

Entrepreneur niggas, and the moguls
He could ball with the crew, he could solo
But I think I like him better when he dolo
And I think I like him better with the fitted cap on
He ain't even gotta try to put the mack on
He just gotta give me that look
When he give me that look, then the panties comin' off, off, uh
Excuse me, you're a hell of a guy
You know, I really got a thing for American guys
I mean sigh sickenin' eyes
I can tell that you're in touch with your feminine side, uh!
Yes, I did, yes, I did
Somebody please tell him who the eff I is
I am Nicki Minaj, I mack them dudes up
Back coupes up, and chuck the deuce up

Beating like a drum and it's coming your way
Can't you hear that boom, boom-badoom boom, boom badoom-boom?
(Yeah that's the super bass)
Boom-badoom boom, boom badoom-boom?
(You got that super bass)
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom, bass, boom, boom, boom, boom
Can't you hear that boom, boom-badoom boom, boom badoom-boom?
(You got that super bass)
Boom-badoom boom, boom badoom-boom?
(You got that super bass)

See, I need you in my life for me to stay
No, no, no, no, no, I know you'll stay
No, no, no, no, no, don't go away
Boy, you got my heartbeat runnin' away
Don't you hear that heartbeat comin' your way?
Oh, it be like, "Boom, badoom-boom, boom, badoom-boom, bass"

General CommentYou are probably trolling but...

If you've ever lived in an apartment you know this all too well. It's late at night and you hear rhythmic thumping from someone that's put an expensive sound system in their car. **boom, badoom-boom, boom, badoom-boom, bass**

Sub-bass energy is popular in dance music and dub reggae, where the low frequencies involve energy from the kick drum, the bass guitar and electronic synthesizers. Other genres such as dubstep or drum and bass often feature the whole bass-line reproduced in sub-bass frequencies. Much experimental music uses sub-bass, in particular drone music, where the majority of the sound can often be in the sub-bass range. Often, hip hop and rap songs feature much sub-bass. Songs like this, that make liberal use of sub-bass are generally given the term of "bass song."

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/…

As for the "pelican fly" phrase, Urban Dictionary has this:

When you are completely wasted/high stoned to the point of totally losing it. Can only really reach "pelican fly" on cocaine, amphetamines. E, LSD. But some people can reach it on marijuana.
Origins from the film "Scarface." Al Paccino is sitting in a bath watching TV and sees a pair of flamingoes flying and says : "Hey Manny look at it .. Pelican fly come on pelican."
Man I smoked some really strong weed and was "pelican fly."

..So maybe that's what she's trying to express.

Slicker than the guy with the thing on his eye = Slick Rick

...the rest should add up now.

My InterpretationThis song is definitely about Hitler. Whether it's admiration or fear is debatable. Look here:
"This one is for the boys with the boomin' system"
Already, we see a reference to his effective economic plan for Germany, which she seems to admire.
"Top down, AC, with the coolin' system"
But she turns around with this, which comments on the comfort he provided himself while ordering...
"When he come up in the club, he be blazin' up"
...that's correct, the Holocaust. "Blazing up" being the burning of bodies.
"Stacks on deck like he savin' up"
Stacks of corpses in mass graves. A pretty clear one.
"And he ill, he real, he might got a deal"
This is one of those lines wherein lies either admiration or fear. "Ill" has become something of a slang term for something perceived as enjoyable, "cool". being "real" is also something to be respected. "he might got a deal" has disturbing grammar for a reason. The line and grammar both represent her indecision and confusion about admiring him or not.
"...he got the right kind of build"
Hitler was popular with the help of his charisma, charm and look. Or, "the right kind of build."
"He cold, he dope, he might sell coke"
This line may represent her resentment of admiring someone who may be less than reputable.
"He always in the air, but he never fly coach He a muthaf***in' trip, trip, sailor of the ship, ship"
She is praising his military work in these lines.

The entire chorus is her either describing her inability to hold back her love, or her fear of the surrounding war, hence the onomatopoeia.

"This one is for the boys in the Polos
    Entrepreneur niggas, and the moguls
He could ball with the crew, he could solo
But I think I like him better when he dolo"
She shows appreciation for the SS and Hitler together and separate. I don't have a scrotehair of an idea what "dolo" means.

General CommentCan someone please tell me what this all means? What is a Pelican Fly? I understand pelicans can fly, but that's not likely what they're referencing and as far as the name, Super Bass? What does this song have to do with bass? They're not referencing any fish, or the bass guitar instrument and I highly doubt bass has any significant instrumental portion to this song... or what they pass off as a song. This is a terrible song... I much prefer Rebecca Black.

My OpinionPersonaly, I don't like this type of music, but it's not the sound nor her voice that bugs me. It's just the musicvideo. Always talking about that us women shouldn't be seen as sexobjects and all I can see in her musicvideo is boobs and unbuttoned shorts. Also, that every single man in that musicvideo has these extreme abs, which kind of looks like brains sticking out of their stomaches.

I kind of hate the musicvideo. Just my opinion.

Song MeaningThe song means "That male of the species H. Sapiens Sapiens who I have just observed in this venue is dominant, well-endowed in both status and resources, and quite aesthetically pleasing. This has lead to a marked increase in cardiovascular activity due to sexual arousal."

My Opinionok, i understand that it has a catchy rhythm that makes us all want to dance, but that is not the meaning of music, ergo this cannot be considered music! music is a way of expressing a feeling or idea and all this "i don't know what to call it cuz' its not a song" is transmitting to what i believe is an audience composed by mainly children is " hey i'm going to the club to get fucked up and hook up with a guy based on his looks and fake behavior" not only is this a bad message for society but the way she transmits it is also devastating, why can't anyone speak proper english anymore?. oh and when i thought the song was a disgrace to the music world, i saw the music video. oh god, five dancers dressed exactly the same as nicki minaj, oh that's great it teaches us all to be the same, to be copies it oppresses originality, that is a great message. the music video also portrays love as something extremely different from what it is to each one of us. the video is saying that when you find someone you love, that is implied by the heartbeat, you shall go as a couple to a swimming pool while various hunks sit around half naked and you throw glasses of pepto bismol at each other.
franz Liszt must be rolling over on his grave.

General CommentObviously this song is about looking for the sugar Daddy. It is a song to announce that the person is just a Gold digger and not interested in anything else about a guy. It's sad this song is not more depressing but it seems the person has no shame in admitting that men are only a paycheck. The Pelican fly is a reference to likely Denzel Washington in the Pelican Brief. She's pointing out the high rollers and maybe lawyers with that reference. The guy with the thing in his eye is a reference to Monopoly. Sadly this song represents the "Stupid Ho" who has the ignorance to not care that her man sells drugs, as long as he has money the "panties will come off". Sigh. I think she could be relating to the women more than trying to teach them as she could be doing. Maybe she will change the persona to be more like Shady so Roman will be the decadent lifestyle that ends up commiting suicide. Maybe then she will be showing something of value.
