"Brutal Hearts" as written by and Eon Sinclair Jay Malinowski....
Are you the Brutal Heart
Are you the Brutal Heart that I've been looking for
Cause if you're looking for love, you can look for that door
Hearts
Hearts that break the night in two
And arms that can't hold you that true

So use me
So use me

I don't mind at all
I don't mind that you only call me when you want
And I'm just glad you want me at all
Hearts
And hearts that break the night in two
And arms that can't hold you that true

So use me

So use me

So are we Brutal Hearts
Are we Brutal Hearts that break the nigh in two
Because I just want this night with you

Well I don't like the man
I don't like the man that I am
I just want this night with you
Well then lets take this night from black to blue
Well then lets take this night from black to blue

So use me
So use me

General CommentI love this song so much. Discovered it on the soundtrack to the movie The Romantics and fell in love. But it feels like more than a one night stand. I think its more of a friends-with-benefits deal. I don't think this is their first time together, and maybe not the last.

General CommentThis is by far the best song about one night stands that I have ever heard. Jay Malinowski and Couer de Pirate sound so great together.

My InterpretationThis doesn't sound like a one night stand, particularly not from the woman's point of view. She saying she doesn't mind these types of calls from him (implying it's happened before) so long as he wants her.

Either way, this song is very nice.

General Comment"Well then lets take this night from black to blue"

is a play on words about getting hurt and being with the person from night (black) and not leaving until the next day (blue)

General CommentI wouldn't say the song is about one night stands. For me the song is more about two people that sometimes spend their night together. They aren't more than "occasional" lovers, yet more than just two people having a one night stand.

    General CommentI love this song.
I've been attempting for MONTHS and am FINALLY going to see Bedouin Soundclash live in just 2 days!

The sound of this song is so pure and ruff, and who would have thought a one night stand could ever be so beuatiful.
