"Kidz" as written by Jason Orange, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Robbie Williams and Gary / Barlow....
Kings and Queens and Presidents
Ministers of Governments
Welcome to the future of your world

Through talking heads that took liberties
The monkeys learnt to build machines
They think they'll get to heaven through the universe

They say nothing
Deny everything
And make counter accusations
My friends, my dear, my love, my God

There'll be trouble when the kidz come out (come out)
There will be lots for them to talk about (about)
There'll be trouble when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out, when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
What you looking at
Hey, hey, hey, hey
You want a bit of that
Hey, hey, hey, hey
There will be trouble when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out
Hey

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all?
The Good, the Bad, the Ugly or the Beautiful

Because it's up hill and against the wind
With no-one there to let us in
Leave your thoughts and save yourself you fool

The daggers of science
Evolving into violence
We're not sure where the fallout blows
But we all know ·

There'll be trouble when the kidz come out (come out)
There will be lots for them to talk about (about)
There'll be trouble when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out, when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
What you looking at
Hey, hey, hey, hey
You want a bit of that
Hey, hey, hey, hey
There will be trouble when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out
Hey

Out on the streets tonight
They're making peace tonight
They're making peace

La, la, la, la

There'll be trouble when the kidz come out
There will be lots for them to talk about
There'll be trouble when the kidz come out
When the kidz come out, when the kidz come out

There'll be trouble when the kidz come out

Song Meaninganyone agree with me that this was probably made in support of the large number of student protests that took place in england just before the song was made?

the song would appaer to be a statement about the protests. the first half about the kids protesting and how hard it is for them to get thier views through. being one of the students at the protests i know that there is alot of pressure and anger building up over the coalition governments acts and policy on education. 'there'll be trouble when the kidz come out' could be reffering to the first majour student protest where they took over the tory HQ making the english government look like a load of fools.

the lines 'out on the street tonight, they'er making peace tonight, they'er making peace' could have two different meanings here. the first is that the students are trying to make peace over the whole situation, or much liklier the line is a satyrical take on the police brutality and the harsh crackdown on the student protests that took place after the first one, the mass arrest kettling tactics that were employed and the use of fear to dissuade further protest, like the handing out of arcadian scentences for minor protesting offences, like this example here: youtube.com/… . the police syrens in the background of that part of the song is probably making it more likely to be the latter meaning.

Song Meaningkids isn't just about student protest (which does have a big part in the song) but its also about royalty and goverment ruling us to the point where they are ruining our country. this song is also a warning stating dont push us too far coz we will fight back. the stuff this song is referring to is stuff like the rises in student fees, rises in taxs, less help on the nhs, no goverment funding for schools etc....

wow go take that, going all political!
