"All Along - MOTM2" as written by Emile Haynie and Scott Mescudi....
Hey
Ma, ma, ma moo.

Hey
Ma, ma, ma moo.

When the days change
So does my attitude
I'm messy at home
I eat a lotta junk food.

When the nights change
So do my nightmares too
I dream reality
Is my dream.

All along
All along
I guess I'm meant to be alone

All along
All along
I guess I'm meant to be alone
Out there on my own.

When the weeks change
The rumors change too, I'm addicted to highs
Would you like to know why?

When the months change
So do my love point of views
I don't want what I need
What I need hates me.
What I need hates me.

I know all along
All along.
I know I'm meant to be alone

It's crazy
But all along,
All along.
I knew I was meant to be alone
Out there on my own, yeah.

Suppose him out the lying order, fell to end
Who would be the villain?
All the strangers, voting for him.

Suppose him out the lying order, fell to smile
Who will be the villain?
All the strangers, voting for him.

All along
All along.
I guess I'm meant to be alone.

All along
All along.
I guess I'm meant to be alone
Out there on my own, yeah.

General CommentI'm pretty sure its "suppose the lion hearted..." because that would correspond with man on the moon 1

General Commentits about a girl who left him lol. V2 says that. i dont want what i need what i need hates me. i mean whenever a serious relationship ends for you, you dont want that person anymore but you need that person in life to feel right and secure. and usually when that relation ends both parties end up hating eachother. also he clearly states that he's depressed in the beging of the song and that is also something that goes along with a break up. plus him saying all along i guess im meant to be alone, goes with a break up because how many times have you been left and felt like its the end of the world and that was the only person for you and start thinking man im never going to find another girl or guy. well those are just my thoughts

Song MeaningWell actually, I think what Scott (Kid Cudi) is trying to say is that he's explaining why he's depressed and smokes weed all the time. As seen in paragraph 7 "I'm addicted to highs, would you like to know?" he is saying that he smokes weed simply because he is "all alone", and he's constantly feeling lonely.
I love Kid Cudi, he is definitely my favorite artist.

General CommentI think it's "Suppose, somehow, the lighting on it, fails to end. All the strangers rooted for him."

General CommentI agree that it could be something like "strangers, rooting for him", but it kind of sounds like "lying order" on that first part of that verse; I have the vinyl coming in, and if it's anything like the last one, it gives the official Cudder lyrics on the sleeve or atleast included. I'll double-check once I get it in.
