Yesterday I hit the ground
and now i can't stop falling
a pot of gold came tumbling down
a recipe for bawling

And I know why..
we ran home, try...
we never touchdown,
from sky

A candle burns through a storm
a fire takes the bull by horn
another song is slowly born
another heart string is torn

And I know now,
how to fall down, down
how to fall
to touchdown...

And I know why..
we ran home, try...
we never touchdown...

Painful irony is that
the tears call me the way
a different reasons when I'm with you
than when you're gone away

And time is but another chain
and chains are just a cloud of pain
to keep inside a box
to keep at bay
the key to throw away...

And I know why, why,
we ran home, try, try,
we never touchdown,
we never touchdown,
we never touchdown,
from sky...

My InterpretationI believe the interpretation for this song, is rather obfuscate yet clear. I think it could represent how two souls fall in love, but the more they connect spiritually, the more out of touch with reality they are.
