"Baby" as written by and William Attaway Lord Burgess....
Don't you call anybody else baby 'cause I'm your baby still.
It took a long time to make it, but I never changed my mind.
I never tried to fake it, never drew a line.

Don't you call anybody else baby 'cause I'm your baby still.
Took a long time to make it, but I never changed my mind.

You speak your fears, thinking in circles and checking what mirrors don't see.
You live your life like a page from the book of my fantasy.
How I love you.

You speak your fear, thinking in circles and checking what mirrors don't see.
You live your life like a page from the book of my fantasy.
You live your life like a page from the book of my fantasy.
You live your life like a page from the book of my fantasy.

Don't you call anybody else baby
Don't you call anybody else baby
Don't you call anybody else baby

Don't you call anybody else baby
Don't you call anybody else baby
Don't you call anybody else baby
Don't you call anybody else baby

General CommentClearly, it's about not wanting your ex to move on before you do. No one can take "my" place. Haunting, beautiful and well done!

General CommentAt live sessions I've heard Emily do a version of this song with some extra lyrics.
After some of the 'Don't you call anyone else baby' lines on repeat, she adds a few repetitions of "Because the night belongs to us".
I thought it was a nice touch.

General CommentI feel like all her songs are about John Frusciante.

General Commenti think she's saying "i write of you" after "...book from my fantasy," not "how i love you."

    *shrugs*

You speak your fears, thinking in circles and checking what mirrors don't see.
You live your life like a page from the book of my fantasy.
    I write of you.

General CommentYep, definitely "How I love you". One of the best songs on the record, and I love how "don't you call anybody else baby, cos im your baby still" can be both creepy and endearing. <3 Warpaint.
