(Waste your time, wasted all your time)

Let's leave our bodies at the door
And they cater many skins
Too many aliens involved
They want to tell you its a sin
You push me over and I crack
We're in a coffin on the floor
Communicating with our buzzing flesh
Forehead pressed against yours

They say, if you love then you're doomed
We say, you're so boring and blind
As we, dim and damage the room
While we're, out to waste your time

I flutter with a shivered breath
Unafraid of nothing left
I am inspired by your style girl
I'm blushing red at what you said
And now we wake and its the dusk
Electric oceans between us
I'm not ashamed as to become one
You'd be a fool to call it lust

They say, if you love then you're doomed
We say, you're so boring and blind
As we, dim and damage the room
While we're, out to waste your time

They say, if you love then you're doomed (Waste your time)
We say, you're so boring and blind (Wasted all your time)
As we, dim and damage the room (Waste your time)
While we're, out to waste your time (Wasted all your time)

General CommentI think this song is about sex being a very spiritual and good thing ("leave our bodies," "you'd be a foold to call it lust") because you connect with someone in a special way that is "unafraid of nothing left" and you "become one" (biblical reference). Max is married now and he's singing this with his wife, so that's what I think. His perception of sex has probably changed.

I don't know why there is emphasis on "wasted time." Maybe someone told him sex is bad or a waste of time so he's saying it ironically.
