"All Your Life" as written by Brian Lee Henningsen and Clara Elizabeth Henningsen....
Would you walk to the edge of the ocean
Just to fill my jar with sand
Just in case I get the notion to let it run through my hand
Let it run through my hand

Well, I don't want the whole world
The sun, the moon, and all their light
I just want to be the only girl you love all your life
You love all your life

Would you catch a couple thousand fireflies
Put them in a lamp to light my world
All dressed up in a tux and bow tie
Hand delivered to a lonely girl
To a lonely, lonely girl

Well, I don't want the whole world
The sun, the moon, and all their light
I just want to be the only girl you love all your life
You love all your life

Lately I've been writing
Desperate love songs
I mostly sing them to the wall
You could be the centerpiece of my obsession
If you would notice me at all

Well, I don't want the whole world, no
The sun, the moon, and all their light
I just want to be the only girl you love all your life
You love all your life
You love all your life

General Commenthow has no one commented on this yet?? this is such a cute song, i loove it(: as for the meaning, i think this song is pretty self-explanatory. she likes a boy who might or might not like her back, and she just wants him to realize how perfect they would be together like she does(:

General CommentThe fourth single from family Country trio The Band Perry's debut album is about longing to find that person to spend your life with. Neil Perry described it to Country Stars Central as "our token hopeless romantic song." It was released to Country radio on August 8, 2011.

Brian Henningsen and his daughter Clara wrote the song. The Henningsens are a fifth generation farm family from Illinois who penned or co-penned several other tracks on The Band Perry album after personally playing some songs to the Perry's manager Bob Doyle.

The video finds the sibling trio playing the role of a vagabond-performing troupe. That theme inspired the name of their Purveyors of Performance tour, which began August 15, 2011 in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

The song became, on the chart dated February 18, 2012, the trio's second #1 Country single following "If I Die Young."
