"Blacklist" as written by and Matthew Stephen Nicholls Jona Weinhofen....
So just like that you're fucking dead and gone.
You can only wear a crown of thorns for so long.
We built an empire and you took the throne.
But, you built it from bayonets and sat there alone.
I hope your Queen was worth it.
Do you still serve her on your knees?
Because you say when the world was at your feet,
Just slept while we lived the dream.
You won't miss the water until the rivers run dry.
You won't miss the sunset until it burns out the sky.
You won't miss what you have until it's finally lost.
But, you don't miss a bastard when you're bearing his fucking cross.
Nothing, but a blacklist.
With friends like you there's no need for enemies.
With friends like you there's no need for anything.
Blacklist, you're nothing but a blacklist.
Well, truth be told I'm a little bit gutted.
I mean, you were always a prick, but we still seemed to love you.
We started this together and it should have stuck.
But, there's no room for a useless, miserable fuck.
Well, I know I was a cunt in the final days.
It just filled me with venom, filled me with rage.
To see someone not give a shit, despite of all of this.
I won't see you around, I couldn't give a fuck.
I'd rather slit my wrists than keep in touch.
You're on my blacklist and there's nothing left to say.
We're finished breaking our bones, dragging dead fucking weight.

General Commentblacklist (noun): a list of people or products viewed with suspicion or disapproval

About some bastard, probably Curtis. They got a lot of beef with their former guitarists (Curtis and Jona both), considering pretty biting songs have been written about them (Blacklist and Antivist, respectively).

General CommentJust a guess, but could this be about Curtis??
It pretty much fits with their story...
Anyway, this is easily my favourite song on the new album :)

General CommentAimed at Curtis Ward (old guitarist)? Apparently come the time of his departure Oli absolutely hated the guy.

General CommentReminescent of Sleep with One Eye Open.

I think the above two posters are right. This song is about someone who took all he had for granted.

"We started this together and it should have stuck."
"To see someone not give a shit, despite of all of this."

    someone - Curtis.

General CommentIts defiantly Curtis, Oliver has confirmed that it is a few times now.
Also said he's a male model now.

The song pretty much explains itself.
Curtis was taking it all a bit for granted I think.
He wasn't trying his hardest to move forward with he band.

And he missed his family and girlfriend when he was touring, shown in this line; "I hope your Queen was worth it.
Do you still serve her on your knees?"
    Queen meaning his girl.
    My guess anyway.

    General CommentObviously to Curtis.
Oliver has confirmed it a couple times actually.

    Its fucking thrashing angry.
    I love it.

Anyways,Oliver wrote this because Curtis didnt really distribute with the band. BMTH said that when not on stage Curtis would be in his bunk skyping with his girlfriendd all the time. That it seemed like he didnt care about the band anymore that all it ever was about is his long distance relationship with said girl.

I agree it is important to stay in touch but not ignore the rest of your bloody life.

Oh and Curtis was going deaf in one ear.

Lyric CorrectionI don't mean to sound picky, but I've got the album with the lyrics, and it's:

'Because you SAT while the world was at your feet,'

    Instead of 'say'

    Just trying to help. :)
Love the song, and it is deffo about Curtis, Oli said so on Kerrang
