If I can make you blush will you say you are mine?
If so I will tell you I was yours from the moment I saw your eyes
And if you love another?
Well I can wait forever
So tell me is all of this romantic or just plain pathetic?
Timing is never on my side
Instead I damn myself
Over, over, over, and over
And everything I love gets driven out into the cold
Crammed in tight, a whisper and a stare, summer is gone and the winter is here
But..... What..... if it lasts all year??
Timing is never on my side
Instead I try to move all the stars
Over, over, over, and over
And everything I love gets driven out into the cold
It's just a fear of a fear of
It's just a fear of a fear of
It's just a fear of a fear of
A fear of a fear of a fear of a fear of a fear of
You say that love kills and I'll grow old before my time
And that's fine. and that's fine. It's fine, it's fine.

General Commentjesus, this song is brutally beautiful. its meaning is kind of obvious, though it has a faint sardonic tone as if the speaker knows the inherent foolishness of what he's saying.
