Come take your part in the haze
days remembered in vain
dreams forgotten, depraved
so many fallen away
We kill tomorrow today
Confess our part in the hate
Burn the victims we paint
in twisted, glorious shades
of sorrow and pain
of pain and sorrow

Go on, tho life is fleeting
Hold on, hearts are beating
Holes in the void
We now enjoy
With no choice
Go on, hold on
Holes in the void
We now enjoy
With no choice
no choice...

Color your bodies, ingrained
Canvas slashed to the brain
Fallen martyrs in graves
washed away

Confess our part in the hate
Burn the victims we paint
In twisted, glorious shades
So many fallen away

My OpinionGood song, nice to see they are using a lot of solos these days. The intro sounds like some Pink Floyd "Empty Spaces" influence... Good work!

General CommentVery Floyd-esque. This band never ceases to amaze me. This is probably one of the best songs on the album. It's so methodical, pensive and the mood just builds and builds but never gives you a great resolution. I think the song is trying to draw similarities with war, and how soldiers are forced to follow orders and just become machines. Mushroomhead likes to deal with war (whether it's through their look or through songs like this and DTWAM).
