Is it lonely where you are...
In there... Dad?
Does the darkness know your name?
Does Mom?

What's it like?
Can you feel?
She said her blood turns to ash
Dad, do you know what you've done this time to me?

Burning eyes can't forgive you
Howling moon drives on
And deep in me
Your illusion
What you see in me

Did you have that dream again?
You're receiving what you said
Said she
Never mind
Emptiness, dead eyes and lost what you found

Maybe there on the edge is your hope
But you don't look down
There you go saying nothing
Here's my mind unclear
Could it be?
Maybe something has a hold of me

General CommentThis Song was made with Mary Elizabeth McGlynn for the PlayStation Portable game Silent Hill Origins.
The Song is played in the beginning of the game, and when I first listened to it, walking through the fog of silent hill, i was sure the game will be great. And it really was great, even when I played it a second time ;)

My InterpretationThe song is between Travis Grady and his father Richard Grady, on behalf of how his father dealt with Helen Grady's insanity and death by escaping it with suicide. In a way, Travis blames his father for failing to save his mother from going to the deep end, as well as putting a quilt on him and his feeling of hate towards him committing suicide.
