"Nylon 6/6" as written by Corey Taylor, James Root, Josh Rand, Shawn Economaki and Roy Mayorga....
You stay locked in your head while you're raising the dead
All your neophytes hanging on everything you said
You can take it from me since you took it from me
Even now, the shadow I cast won't set you free

Do you feel your essence through the pain?
If you lose your conscience

Take away the last of your woes that you're setting in stone
Well, your cover is passive-aggressive and blown
This is not about you, because it's all about you
You're out of luck, 'cause this is me not giving a fuck

Do you feel your essence through the pain?
If you lose your conscience

Just save yourself to sacrifice
A little truth for the cause, for the blame
Will you concentrate to realize your fate
Because, we want more, we want more

Be what you want to be get away you're free
What you want to be get away you're free
What you want to be get away you're free

Just save yourself to sacrifice
A little truth for the cause, for the blame
Will you concentrate to realize your fate because
Oh, just save yourself to sacrifice
A little truth for the cause, for the blame
Will you concentrate to realize your fate
Because, we want more, we want more
Because, we want more, we want more

My InterpretationWow! Can't believe I am the first to comment on this song...my opinion of the meaning of this song is about someone who has been sacrificing for a cause they believe in and another entity (big corporations, government, etc...) always wants more and will never be satisfied with what they get from the person.

I feel some kind of connection the meaning because I have been active duty air force for over 17 years and I have sacrificed a lot in my life for the freedom of the citizens of the United States of America. I get a paycheck and I have no regrets for making this choice for a career, but after so many years I have the deep seated feeling of being unappreciated by those who run this great country. My favorite line in this whole song is:

You're out of luck...cause this is me not giving a fuck

Hope I shed some kind of light on what this song could possibly be talking about, of course this is my opinion and if you don't like I don't give a fuck...

Have a nice day and keep on rockin in the free world mother fuckers!

General CommentCorey: This is about that friend you've had for years and realising that you haven't really changed, but they have. It's basically that last shot you give them to figure it out, "Dude, either get your shit together or I've got to move on."
