"Beautiful World" as written by Kostas Lazarides, Angelo T. Petraglia and Georgia L. Middleman....
Bad blood, I could crawl right out my mind
It's a long day, long day when the sun won't shine
But it feels like, fussing and fighting is all we do
Lord knows I can't get enough of you
Bad blood, I could crawl right out of my mind
Ah girl, it's a new day now we can make it shine

Listen to the birds sing their song
Listen to my heart beating strong
I just want to feel like I do when I'm with you
It's a beautiful world

The darkness, it ain't so deep
So I reach and I reach and I reach higher
Set me free
Ah girl, it's a new day now we can make it shine

Listen to the birds sing their song
Listen to my heart beating strong
I just want to feel like I do when I'm with you
It's a beautiful world

Ah girl, it's a new day now we can make it shine
Listen to the birds sing their song
Listen to my heart beating strong
I just want to feel like I do when I'm with you
It's a beautiful world, beautiful world, oh beautiful world

My OpinionLove the slow groove of this song and the raw honesty in JJ's voice. (Of course, his voice is always like that.) Lyrics are not straightforward, in that I'm not sure if he is fussing and fighting with the girl, or with someone else and he dreams of being with his girl when that happens. A third option is that he's talking about the world at large when he says 'we', therefore he is complaining of the upheaval all around him, in general terms.

This could even be written from the perpsective of a soldier overseas, longing for his girl back home.

Either way, he just wants to be with her, and she is his sunshine.
