"Love in a Box" as written by and David Lee Ottestad....
It's easy to see how everything is loosely
Put into a box to describe how
Well it is working
but can you tell me
How did she knock me off of my feet?
When she said hello
My name is beautiful
I said excuse me miss but it's time for me to hit the floor
And now this dancing has turned to falling
Words can't do justice to this girl I know

And it's those deep breaths that get me through the times she's standing next to me
She's nothing short of lovely
Does she notice that I can't breathe?
Everything around me's getting hazy

I'll loosen up my tie
No use in being shy

So take one petal at a time
And toss it to the ground
Closer now, I'll touch your lips to mine
And feel how we have to hold our breath
To make sure we don't miss one moment tonight

Oh-oh, yeah

Under this moonlight
I can see the mystery behind your eyes
With every taste girl, well I delight in you
And yet this distance
That separates my hand from yours
Can only make me appreciate your heart, I adore you

So take one petal at a time
And toss it to the ground
Closer now, I'll touch your lips to mine
And feel how we have to hold our breath
To make sure we don't miss one moment tonight

Oh, oh, quiet now, she's fast asleep
And to my arm she's clinging
But you're mine girl
And my heart is yours, woah, oh-oh

So take one petal at a time
And toss it to the ground
Closer now, I'll touch your lips to mine
And feel how we have to hold our breath
To make sure we don't miss one moment tonight, oh, oh yeah

My InterpretationThis song is pretty obvious as to what they are saying, but just in case you need what it means, here it is!

He's saying that it's plain to see that his relationship with this girl is working. Then, he asks how she knocked him off his feet. By this he means that he wants to know how she suddenly caught him off guard when she introduced herself. Then he talks about how beautiful she is. "I said excuse me miss it's time for me to hit the floor" is him saying that she is so beautiful that she makes him weak, therefore making him "fall for her" in love as they are slow dancing.

"And It's those deep breaths that get me through the times she's standing next to me." means that, when they are standing next to each other, feeling her breathe calms him down. Then he again says that she's absolutely breathlessly beautiful, and it makes him light-headed.

"I'll loosen up my tie. No use in being shy." is referring to how he's getting more comfortable around her as the relationship goes on. Then, the next part is pretty self-explanatory. He's just talking about how he doesn't want to miss anything with her and he's taking it one petal (or step) at a time.

He's talking about how he loves kissing her and that being away from her and the distance between them only makes him miss her and want her more and appreciate the time that they are together that much more.

Quiet now, she's fast asleep, and to my arm she's clinging. You're mine girl, and my heart is yours. He is saying that she fell asleep in his arms, and as he is looking at her, he is thinking that she is his. In return, he is giving her his heart. He truly loves her.
