"Give A Little More" as written by Adam Levine, Jesse Royal Carmichael, James Valentine and Mickey Madden....
Now you've been bad, and it goes on and on and on
'Til you come home babe, 'til you come home
You taste past the poison, you learned to love is gone
I'm all alone baby, I'm all alone

I'm waiting for something, always waiting
Feeling nothing, wondering if it'll ever change
And then I give a little more, oh babe
Oh, I give a little more, oh babe

I'm not fallin' in love with ya, I'm not fallin' in love
And I'm not fallin' in love with ya, I'm not fallin' in love
'Til I get a little more from you baby
Oh, get a little more from you babe

You were wrong for turning me on and on and on
And on and on, yeah
You make it so hard

I'm waiting for something, always waiting
Feeling nothing, wondering if it'll ever change (if it'll ever change)
Then I give a little more, oh babe
Oh, give a little more, oh babe

I'm not fallin' in love with ya, I'm not fallin' in love
And I'm not gonna love with ya, I'm not gonna love
'Til I get a little more from you baby
I get a little more from you babe

I have no defense
I know you're gonna get me in the end
And I cannot pretend
I never wanna feel this way again

I'm not fallin' in love with ya, I'm not fallin' in love
And I'm not fallin' in love with ya, I'm not fallin' in love
'Til I get a little more from you baby
Oh, get a little more from you babe

I'm not gonna love with ya, I'm not gonna love
And I'm not gonna love with ya, I'm not fallin' in love
'Til I get a little more from you baby
Oh, get a little more from you babe

General CommentA give/get problem here, not that it's something new...

He threatens not to fall in love with her until he gets 'a little more' (which is sex, most likely, but also maybe just some proof of feelings on her side).

But though he's determined not to do so, he can't help it: 'I know you're gonna get me in the end'

He can't resist her: 'Now you've been bad and it goes on... Till you come home' (thinks her bad, but when he sees her everything's forgotten)

Don't know why I wrote such an essay on a simple pop song though... ;P

General CommentI think this song is about women playing hard to get and how it drives the guys crazy. He desperately wants to know but knows it's unfair that he's waiting around and she's not telling him anything, so he basically says "I'm not gonna fall in love with you until I see something."

General CommentThis sounds like the all to familiar battle following our brains and followingour hearts. b/c this girl is clearly a bitch but he's become drawn to her, almost addicted even though she has stepped out a million and a half times, he thinks that giving more of himself will make her believe she wants to be good to him. And part of him knows that is not the case.
