"One More Day" as written by and Dave Richard/hasek Bassett....
The walls are closing in around us
We hold our silence like a gun
Your stare is empty and a scene that keeps repeating
And I just bite my tongue

They can't take this away
Its far from over
We can't take stay in a place
We don't belong
For one more day
I'm not afraid to fall
For one more day
We try to save it all

Footsteps will fade away the memories
Unload the words and breath again
Our eyes are focused on an unexplored horizon
On what has always been

They can't take this away
It's far from over
We can't stay in a place
We don't belong
For one more day
I'm not afraid to fall
For one more day
We try to save it all

I wont let you look back
If you will help me see
Clearly

They can't take this away
It's far from over
We can't stay in a place
We don't belong
For one more day
I'm not afraid to fall
For one more day
Far from over
We try to save it all

For one more day
They can't take this away
I'm not afraid to fall
It's far from over
For one more day
We can't stay in a place we don't belong
I'm not afraid
They can't take this away
It's far from over

    General CommentOne More Day

The walls are closing in around us
We hold our silence like a gun
Your stare is empty and a scene that keeps repeating
And I just bite my tongue

    They take this away
    Its far from over
We cant take stay in a place
    We don’t belong
    For one more day
    I’m not afraid to fall
    For one more day
We try to save it all

Footsteps will fade away the memories
Unload the words and breath again
Our eyes are focused on an unexplored horizon
    And what has always been

    They can’t take this away
    Its’ far from over
We cant stay in a place
    We don’t belong
    For one more day
    I’m not afraid to fall
    For one more day
We try to save it all

I wont let you look back
If you will help me see
    Clearly

    They can’t take this away
    It’s far from over
We can’t stay in a place
    We don’t belong
    For one more day
    I’m not afraid to fall
    For one more day
    (Far from over)
We try to save it all

    For one more day
    (They can’t take this away)
    I’m not afraid to fall
    (It’s far from over)
    For one more day
(We can’t stay in a place we don’t belong)
    I’m not afraid
    (They can’t take this away)
    It’s far from over

General CommentI'm oretty sure I got the line "And What has always been" wrong, but that's what I kept hearing, so feel free to correct! This one was a but personal for me, but in general He seems like he's tryint to tell someone he cares about, that something that they keep reliving, a break up, or something else that didn't work out, and he's either gong through the same thing, or has been through it, and they're going to be okay. There's "new horizons" to explore, and while they would like to make that relationship, or something else, and live it for one more day, they can help each other move on. That's what I got from it.
