Here it is
The place you dreamt of
When you dreamt of where you'd die
So when the light breaks
The lonely hillside
You laid your head down a final time

Drink up
Drink up
Tonight your soul may be required
Drink up
Drink up
Tonight your soul may be required

So after all
Slings and arrows
And after all
Sound and fury
You'll find life
Kills all illusions
And death itself is
Your salvation

Drink up
Drink up
Tonight your soul may be required
Drink up
Drink up
Tonight your soul may be required

General CommentThe chorus is directly lifted from Cormac McCarthy's novel, "Blood Meridian: Or The Evening Redness in the West":

"Drink up, he said. Drink up. This night thy soul may be required of thee".

This quote comes from Judge Holden, an almost supernatural being that roams the wild west with Glanton's Gang and the protagonist, The Kid. In the novel, he's often shown commiting horrific acts, including raping and killing children. He's also shown to be prolific in arts and at one point is shown drawing plants and animals in a notebook. When asked why, he answers:

“Whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent”.
