"A Night Without Cars" as written by Dave Mccracken and Brandon Boyd....
Picture this; a falling star that dons a kite string.
The two of us are holding fast,
oh where will the fall leave us?

You were a prisoner
and so was I.
Run with the hunted
and open eyed
into the arms of
a threat that's real.
This is our burden,
we've got to find

another way out!
If there are no such things as walls,
you're not a prisoner at all.
Another way out!
Yeah, there is nothing holding you,
so run like a caribou!

Picture this; a night without cars,
just hooves and long legs.
The two of us are horned and proud,
the city is ours again.

You were a prisoner
and so was I.
Run with the hunted
and open eyed
into the arms of
a threat that's real.
This is our burden,
we've got to find

another way out!
If there are no such things as walls,
you're not a prisoner at all.
Another way out!
Yeah, there is nothing holding you,
so run like a caribou!

General CommentI think this means that we shouldn't let ourselves become trapped by the heavy things of life hold us down, using cities and cars as man-made constructs created by our own hands. Instead we should know how to escape and be the owner of our own domain instead of our domain owning us.

General CommentI agree, we are weighed down and trapped by so many material items. We are letting the things we made control our every day lives.
