"Factory Girl" as written by Kato Khandwala, Ben Phillips and Taylor Momsen....
I am a factory girl, won't you pardon me?
See I can make my whole world in a backseat
Lost point, want a joint, show me how to treat a john
Someone save me, save me from what I'm on

Wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
hey wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
just let me in through the backdoor
Just let me in through the backdoor, baby
Just let me in through the backdoor, just let me in
Wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?

It's gonna be a real good time

I'm waiting for my man on Hollywood and Vine, so fine
gettin' done in the alley, son I'm on New York time
Take a look at those red lights, green lights, blowin' my mind
I'll show you somethin' if you show me a good time

Wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
hey wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
I'll let you in through the backdoor
I'll let you in through the backdoor, baby
I'll let you in through the backdoor, I'll let you in
Say wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?

Here she comes, she's coming around again
Here she comes, she's coming around again
Here she comes, she's coming around again
Here she comes, she's coming again

Wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
I said wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?

Wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
Wait a minute girl, wait a minute, wait a minute girl
Wait a minute, wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?

hey wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
Wait a minute girl, won't you show me to the party?

I think this song is about the American Celebrity lifestyle and exchanging sex for drugs.

"I am a factory girl, won't you pardon me?
See I can make my whole world in the back seat" - she's a normal, working girl maybe a prostitute.

"I'm waitin' for my man on Hollywood and Vine, so fine
Getting done in L.A., Sun I'm on New York time" - waiting for high end clients in LA and NYC.

"Take a look at those red lights, green lights, blowin' my mind
I'll show you somethin' if you show me a good time" - the lights seem so bright when she's under the influence of drugs.

"Wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
Hey, wait a minute girl, can you show me to the party?
I'll let you in through the back door" - the party refers to where the drugs are. [:

thats what I think anyway. Btw, I LOVE this song.

General CommentWell, I think this song is about a prostitute, the factory girl. The party is a place where she can find clients and when she says that she is "waitin' for my man on Hollywood and Vine, so fine Getting done in L.A. Sun, I'm on New York time" she means she is waiting for a client and then she'll have sex with him. She says also "I'll show you somethin' if you show me a good time", pretty obvious I guess. And by letting the guy in through the back door I understand that she might be offering anal sex, and she hesitates on the "wait a minute" parts.

General CommentI think this song is about prostitution for sure.

The first verse is all about having sex for money but she might not be an old pro. She asks if someone can show her how to treat a John.

However the chorus is from the Males perspective. Hey girl can you show me to the party. Why are you walking by me? I want to get a piece of you. Let me in through the back door could be a reference of what he wants sexually from her. I think that the John see's her a lot walking the streets. Hence the repeated "she's coming around, coming around again"

She lets him know, It's gonna be a really good time. However she's already waiting for someone, but if you give me what I want I'll show you a good time which is pretty much, for the right price I'll leave with you. She caves and says I'll give you what you want and ends with saying she wants to know if she can bring some friends too.

That's the literal translation of the lyrics. I think it can also be about drugs, partying and having a good time and getting into bars\clubs when you're underage like Taylor Momsen.
