We're born into the night like children of the damned
Our pain will shine a light to those who understand
Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender
An exorcise of life to cut beneath our hands
Like souls who missed their plight, we'll bleed along the sand
Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender
Sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender
Our pain will shine a light to those who understand
Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender
An exorcise of life to cut beneath our hands
Like souls who missed their plight, we'll bleed along the sand
Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender
Sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve.
The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future.
Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere"
The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
It's quite obvious that they're satanic. Their song "Fallen Angels", it refers to Satan and his angels being cast down to hell. A place that was meant for the Devil and his angels can't be nice, everything down there is suffering, suffering and suffering in all eternity, you can't think how harsh it is down there. Read some hell testimonies, and some heaven testimonies: divinerevelations.info/
Jesus makes it clear "If you're not for me, you're against me". They sing "Follow the morning star" morning star refers to Lucifer "Son of dawn" Satan/Devil.
I've heard they have inverted cross tattoos. Inverted cross is an anti-christ symbol. Ofcourse they deny that they are Satanic, so that people will keep listening to their songs.
Just because they have songs like "God bless you", doesn't change anything. You can't be on both sides.
They want to make heaven seem boring and so. Satan wants to do everything to keep people from Jesus, he's the deceiver from the very beginning, when he decieved Eve. But I'm telling you, from all testimonies of people who've been in hell, they say that their senses were so vivid it took an extreme effort to just breathe or to move, and things like that.
Satan holds all non-belivers blinded from the truth!
I was once a porn, masturbation, PC gaming addict once (I'm 15 years). But now in happy in Jesus and baptised in the Holy spirit. I feel like a whole new person.
(i didnot write this found it on another bvb lyric page where this person has writen this but the following was writen by XxAndyIsMySaviourxX)

Well. It seems like you weren't very well educated on Black Veil Brides.

What you said: It's quite obvious that they're satanic. Their song "Fallen Angels", it refers to Satan and his angels being cast down to hell.

What's true: Firstly, they're not Satanic. I know that Andy is Athiest, which means he doesn't believe in God or Satan. And what you believe Fallen Angels is about is partially true. It is about when the Fallen Angels are cast down to earth. What Andy said about its meaning is that when the Fallen Angels were cast down, they mated with human women and created a new species. I don't know how to spell it, so I'm gonna take a guess. Menefulon. I know that's how you pronounce it. And basically, they were half fallen angel and half human. The inbetweens. And the other humans considered them to be freaks and weirdos. Basically the ultimate outcasts. And that's how BVB felt when they were younger; outcasts. The song is like an anthem to the outcasts.

What you said: Jesus makes it clear "If you're not for me, you're against me". They sing "Follow the morning star" morning star refers to Lucifer "Son of dawn" Satan/Devil.

What's true: The lyrics aren't "Follow the morning star", they're "Follow the mourning sun." so that changes what you think the meaning is.

What you said: I've heard they have inverted cross tattoos. Inverted cross is an anti-christ symbol. Ofcourse they deny that they are Satanic, so that people will keep listening to their songs.

What's true: They don't all have inverted cross tattoos. That I know of, only Andy and his best friend Matt Good have them. And they have a lot of other tattoos together. And even if they were Satanic, that really wouldn't change the opinion of the BVB army to them. I'd still listen to their music.

What you said: Just because they have songs like "God bless you", doesn't change anything. You can't be on both sides

What's true: God Bless You isn't about God blessing them. If you payed any attention to the lyrics, you'd know that Andy was talking about a girl. "You left me with these broken lies, and I let you. Got no more time for your goodbyes, so God bless you." See? Obviously about a girl who dies and he wants God to bless her.

What you said: They want to make heaven seem boring and so. Satan wants to do everything to keep people from Jesus, he's the deceiver from the very beginning, when he decieved Eve. But I'm telling you, from all testimonies of people who've been in hell, they say that their senses were so vivid it took an extreme effort to just breathe or to move, and things like that

What's true: When have they ever tried to make Heaven seem boring? Show me some proof.

Okay I think that's all.
okay. you're wrong. just stop. honestly this made me want to die because you are so wrong. alright, do you even listen to black veil brides or know any history about them? And you have your facts so wrong. "Morning star" could actually also mean the star the the 3 wise men followed to Bethlehem after Jesus' birth. I am a Roman Catholic and I listen to Black Veil Brides, so does this make me satanic? And you can't just say that God Bless You is just disregarded because you can't be on both sides. If you're gonna make such an OVERSTATEMENT like calling the 5 people who saved my life satanists, then do your research. I am a Roman Catholic, 15 year old girl that loves this music because of the deep meaning behind it so until you do your research, please don't poison ears with your snide comments about things that aren't true.
@servantofjesus you are 100% wrong this song is about not fitting in and not being wanted and wanting to be apart of something they werent wanted in
