"Children Surrender" as written by and Jacob Mark/ferguson Pitts....
We're born into the night like children of the damned
Our pain will shine a light to those who understand

Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender

An exorcise of life to cut beneath our hands
Like souls who missed their plight, we'll bleed along the sand

Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender

Sink your teeth into forever

Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender

My InterpretationOkay everyone, this song is NOT about satan, or vampire okay!!! BVB writes songs about their pain and past.

We're born into the night like children of the damned
Our pain will shine a light to those who understand
~This part is about kids who are different. They wear black and listen to screamo and are flagged as "emo" or "goth". BVB is saying that their past and pain will help them and that they know how the kid/kids feel~

Whoa whoa sink your teeth into forever
Whoa whoa sunlight burns children surrender
~By saying "sink you teeth into forever" they're saying accept who are and embrace it. "sunlight burns children surrender" is being more direct. The normal people, bullies, who are all sunshine and roses are trying to change them and it hurts the kid and causes him pain, so he or she eventually gives, a.k.a children surrender.~

An exorcise of life to cut beneath our hands
Like souls who missed their plight, we'll bleed along the sand
~In the first line, they're saying that what they believe in is causing them pain. By exercising their emotions and what they like, they are being cut and harmed. In the second line, they're saying that the kid feels like he or she missed his chance to be happy or be themself and now they feel empty, a.k.a bleeding on the sand.~

~The rest is the chorus which I've already gone over. So yaaa, this song isn't about satan or religion or vampires. It's about someone feeling like they don't belong, and therefore they feel empty and like they have to surrender.~

General CommentI love this song, its one of my favorites by this band besides Heaven's Calling and Sweet Blasphemy. Yeah, this is definitely about vampires.

General CommentThis is about vampires I believe. But I do believe this has a deeper meaning than it sounds like... most of BVB's songs have deeper meanings than they appear, but then Andy explains what they mean and you realize that your old thought was completely wrong.

My OpinionWell, I don't think this song is about vampires, considering Andy and the band themselves have said that they don't write songs about fantasy or things they haven't experienced themselves. Their songs come from their own personal experiences in daily life.

I'm not exactly sure what the song is actually about, though. It's meaning is probably similar to their other songs; relating to misfits and how people see and stereotype them.

My InterpretationWell, it's obviously about vampires. "We're born into the night... Sink your teeth into forever... Sunlight burns..."
And with the "children surrender" part, it's pretty easy. I'm sure everyone has seen Interview with a Vampire or Queen of the Damned. Well, the vampires are often called 'children' by higher up vamps. So, 'children', or vamps, surrender to the sunlight.
I'm not sure this song really has a deep meaning though.

General CommentIt's quite obvious that they're satanic. Their song "Fallen Angels", it refers to Satan and his angels being cast down to hell. A place that was meant for the Devil and his angels can't be nice, everything down there is suffering, suffering and suffering in all eternity, you can't think how harsh it is down there. Read some hell testimonies, and some heaven testimonies: divinerevelations.info/

Jesus makes it clear "If you're not for me, you're against me". They sing "Follow the morning star" morning star refers to Lucifer "Son of dawn" Satan/Devil.

I've heard they have inverted cross tattoos. Inverted cross is an anti-christ symbol. Ofcourse they deny that they are Satanic, so that people will keep listening to their songs.

Just because they have songs like "God bless you", doesn't change anything. You can't be on both sides.

They want to make heaven seem boring and so. Satan wants to do everything to keep people from Jesus, he's the deceiver from the very beginning, when he decieved Eve. But I'm telling you, from all testimonies of people who've been in hell, they say that their senses were so vivid it took an extreme effort to just breathe or to move, and things like that.

Satan holds all non-belivers blinded from the truth!

I was once a porn, masturbation, PC gaming addict once (I'm 15 years). But now in happy in Jesus and baptised in the Holy spirit. I feel like a whole new person.
