Run away
I'm living with a hole inside
A piece of me that I have yet to find
Edge of reason, Lines uneven
Turn me off, feel the blood so cold

Like a product that was bought and sold
Asking me for the impossible

I ain't waiting for a miracle
I ain't waiting for the world to change
Under my skin lives the reason
Under my armor I've lost it all

No more pain
No savior made of our designs
Fooled me before I tell ya not this time
Raped my body, Lost vision, Lost my mind
I had to let it go

Another day living irrational
Another day inside this dying soul

I ain't waiting for a miracle
I ain't waiting for the world to change
Under my skin lives the reason
Under my armor I've lost it all

There's something in your eyes
A part of me that I recognize
I wanna let you know
We'd be there if we could and it's alright
You taught me how to feel
It's no wonder I'd do anything
Tell me why'd you have to go
With the ones that come last are the best I know
Time - seems that we've lost it all

Burn it all
Burn it to the fucking ground
Believe the words that I don't want me around
Life revision, indecision
World collision heads will roll
With nothing left except the pain to show
Mental maniac driven overflow

I ain't waiting for a miracle
I ain't waiting for the world to change
Under my skin lives the reason
Under my armor I've lost it all

General CommentThe part of this song that starts off " there's something in your eyes" brought tears to my eyes, which is a lot for me. I thought about Matt describing how he felt about Jimmy's death. It is tragic because to them losing Jimmy was losing it all. Props to them for still making the album.
Btw: how am I the first to comment on this song?

Lyric CorrectionVery good job with the lyrics, although two parts are wrong (according to the Itunes LP lyric sheet): 'No more pain' should be 'No more faith' and 'With the ones that come last are the best I know' should be 'With the worst to come lost the best I know.'

Beautiful song, it's a funny thing, because although I love the song and think it should have been on the album, I agree with the guys opinions that they didn't know where it fit within the album as a whole.

The song is definitely about the loss of Jimmy, the section that starts with 'there's something in your eyes...' is directed towards Jimmy, Matt is saying how the guys would be there with him but they can't and are wondering why he had to leave but even though they are 'alright' and putting up a strong front underneath they are broken ('under my armor I lost it all'). I think the line 'With the worst to come lost the best I know,' is in reference that the worst times are suppose to be in the future, they were suppose to grow old, they were not suppose to be separated for a long time but this tragedy happened and it is the worst they have ever been through and Jimmy was the best thing in their lives, they are trying to move on and get by but they feel like they have lost everything (their future).

'another day inside this dying soul' is one line that stuck with me. It almost seem to allude that because of this tragedy he is dying from the inside out.

great track. I'm glad they they decided to release it as a bonus track/b-side.

General CommentI heard this on a road trip. I knew it was sad as it started. You can hear the grief and mourning. I almost cried.

I asked my friend if I could play it a second time and heard some of the lyrics..I had to read them while listening.
