These are the saddest of possible words:
Tinker to Evers to Chance
A trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds
Tinker and Evers and Chance
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble
Making a Giant hit into a double
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble
Tinker to Evers to Chance
Yeah Tinker and Evers and Chance

These are the saddest of possible words:
Tinker to Evers to Chance
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble
Making a Giant hit into a double
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble
Tinker to Evers to Chance
Yeah Tinker and Evers and Chance

General CommentGood call posting the link to the wiki page. This song is a musical version of a poem written about a series between the Giants and the Cubs. The writer is a Giants sportswriter who was amazed by watching the Cubs infielders great defense during the series.

Great piece of history put to music. Way to go Chris!
