You don't think I know how this ends?
I've heard these words before and there more meaningless now then they were then
It feels like I'm drowning and you're oceans away
It feels like I'm drowning and you dragged me out to sea
I've got nothing but hate in my heart now watch me tear you apart
I've got nothing but hate in my heart

Burn me to ashes, then burn the ashes
I'll carry this hate till I'm in my grave
I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name
Sorrowspell, my world will never be the same
Burn me to ashes , then burn the ashes
I'll carry this hate till I'm in my grave
I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name
Sorrowspell, my world will never be the same

I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name
I'll see you in hell

My head was a house and all you brought in was lies
My heart was our home and everything that lived there died
Now my world shrinks and these four walls become a cell
You told me the only way to heaven was to go through hell

Burn me to ashes, then burn the ashes
I'll carry this hate till I'm in my grave
I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name
Sorrowspell, my world will never be the same
Burn me to ashes, then burn the ashes
I'll carry this hate till I'm in my grave
I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name
Sorrowspell, my world will never be the same

I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name
I'll see you in hell where the devil knows my name

Won't you close my eyes and let me sleep through this sorrowspell
I've giving so much and I've fallen so hard, I've got nothing left to tell
Won't you close my eyes and let me sleep through this sorrowspell
Won't you close my eyes

It's about, how people forced beliefs on Him, and they tell him He's going to burn in hell, and He doesn't believe a word they say because he's heard it all before, personally I think it's about a boy who grew up in a strict Christian home, and It really screwed him up bad. It has a story that goes along with it like a grim fairytale. Through the boys eyes they are wrong, him and all the other people who are telling him this are going to burn in hell with Him.

Don't really care too much bout the song meaning. He will see you in hell. thats bout al you need to be worried with. The drums sound really soft on this song, i was just checkin these guys out and thought they sounded weird. You can hear the triggers for his double bass way too well. it only sounds cool like with that breakdown near the end..

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
