You feel it for sure
It's down there
They think you're so pure
It's down there
It's down there
There
There

And now I feel like a museum
Just look around and you can see them
You're always so nice
But they'll find out
It just won't suffice
It won't do
It won't do
won't do
For you

And now I feel like a museum
Just look around and you can see them
And if your heart is old and rusty
And all the halls are dark and dusty
Rattle around with me
Rattle around with me

You want to know
If you should go
You'd rather be
In here with me

And now I feel like a museum
Just look around and you can see them
And if your heart is old and rusty
And all the halls are dark and dusty
Rattle around with me
Rattle around with me
Rattle around with me
Rattle around with me
Rattle around with me
Rattle around with me

My InterpretationIn order to keep a positive image, the subject of the song refuses to make their (somehow scandalous) (lesbian?) relationship with the singer public, and has likely cut down on the time they spend together.

This leads the singer to compare herself an old museum, rarely visited in spite of its wonders, yet she is still inviting to her lover.
