Down the drain
Down the drain
Down the drain
Dddddd
Down the drain

MMMMIA
Down the drain
Down the drain
Down the drain
Down the drain
Dddddd
Down the drain

Down the drain
Down the drain
Down the drain
Down the drain
Dddddd
Down the drain

Johnnie keep walking, Jack does too much coke
Jim Beam and Jameson, they just gave me joke
When I see Pernod, I say oh hell no
Kahlua's a turn off, I tell him to Smirnoff
Captain Morgan, a shake with sparks
When we hang out, he shoots arrows through my heart
Blue tattoo, chillin' up in Malibu
He got 99 Bananas, but he's not my boo

I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me

When I met Seagrams
Sent Chivez down my spine
Got me on the dance floor
Then we start to wine
His ex Sambuka
She jus' a hooker
I put it on a chilla but
I want to quil a

I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me

Down the drain
Down the drain
Down the drain
Dddddd the drain
Down the drain

I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me

I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me
I got sticky sticky ikky ikky wiiiiid
I got a shot of t'quila in me

General CommentM.I.A.'s husband is Benjamin Brewer, the heir to the Seagrams fortune. Seagrams bought the liquor brand Chivas 60 years ago. Hence:

"When I met Seagram he sent Chivas down my spine"

So the song's mostly an ode to her husband. It's an extended metaphor casting different types of alcohol as men. This is easily M.I.A.'s most clever rap to date.

Musically, this song's so next-level. Kinda reminds me of Black Dice.

General Commenti don't know if it's an ode to her husband so much as an ode to alcohol, or brands. lol.
but yeah, this song is THE shit ! it feels like an awesome collaboration.
on that note, the whole m.i.a. backlash/hatred is weird...i actually only created this account because i was listening to her new album, and then read all these album reviews of it, and felt super inclined to defend her, because her new album makes sense to me and everyone else is just reading too much into these album reviews which are just rip-offs of other album reviews. just fuckin pick up MAYA for yourself. listen to it for yourself.

General CommentI love this song, but it makes me think of blacked out sorority girls on Spring Break in Cancun puking all over and getting into the Girls Gone Wild van.

General Commenti think this song is pretty straightforward: when m.i.a. wants to party she sticks to weed and tequila since everything else is lame.

General CommentCan anyone make out what she's saying during the Lady GaGa diss? I really need to know.

And the song is clearly about getting really, really fucked up and getting into fights with bottles of Sambuca. Whatchu say, eh?
