"Space" as written by Mathangi Arulpragasam and Chris Mercer....
Gravity is my enemy,
It grabs at me like I'm money.
The stars are bangin' close to me,
As I'm floatin' in a life odyssey.

My lines are down, you can't call me,
As I floating around in space odyssey.
My lines are down, you can't call me,
As I fly around in a space odyssey.

Like Puzzel Bubble on PC,
It's got color waves following me.
And I still judge it week by week,
And I'm head of time, so you'll never lose me.

My lines are down, you can't call me,
As I fly around in a space odyssey.
My lines are down, you can't call me,
As I fly around in a space odyssey.

Ooh, ah, ah ah

Can I take a minute or two,
To introduce my point of view.
I need to spend some time with you,
There's nothing more new on the news.

My lines are down, you can't call me,
As I fly around in a space odyssey.
My lines are down, you can't call me,
As I fly around in a space odyssey.

My InterpretationI get the feeling that this song is about the feeling of peacefulness that a person can attain from disconnecting themselves from modern technology. (My lines are down, you can't cal me) It describes a feeling of bliss due to not being totally available at all times, like many of us do these days with the inventions of things like Facebook and cell phones. Basically it suggests that we'd all be much happier if we were all actually in charge of our own destinies and lives.

Song MeaningIt sounds, to me, like this is about being high on acid or some type of drug, and about how 'unreachable' you are while high on the drug. How it feels like you're floating in space, and how color is a big part of it. 'It's got color waves following me'. And when she says, 'i need to spend some more time with you, there's nothing more new on the news', I think she talking about how with drugs, it's always fun and exciting, versus the real world where everything seems depressing and repetitve.

Also, it could be about someone who has given their life to drugs, and has lost everything to them. The part about the phone lines being down could mean that the person stopped caring about everything, so their phone lines got shut off due to them not paying for anything, or caring. And when she talks about 'can I introduce you to my point of view', she means the person is trying to convince others that their drug-lifestye is amazing, and they're used to everyone thinking that the drugs are bad (hence the 'there's nothing new on the news' part)
    Just my interpretation!

General CommentI agree w/ kate0326 the album as a whole seems to have a sort of anti-technology idea from the first track the message. She seems to be telling us to get back to our roots to actually interact with our world

General CommentI thought she said, "It grabs at me like i'm money", not "harmony". anyways, This song is just about feeling disconnected from the rest of the world. she's giving us this image of her as a computer or something...it's a fawkin amazing song. [:
