When everybody leaves you lonely, times are worse than sad
and the world is falling on your head
Just remember that for all you know, good or bad come what may,
you're gonna live tomorrow, if you don't die today.

It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love, yeah-eah-eah
It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love

Now the fear got in me, it's cuttin' me deep,
that's where it's gonna stay and never leave.
Someone come lay my worry, someone come kill my pain,
someone come and put me on my feet again.

It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love, yeah-eah-eah
It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love

We gotta love one another, that's what the good man say,
but I got too much trouble going 'round my head.
Someone come and pick up my love, take it all away
'cause I could break down tomorrow if I don't die today.

It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love, yeah-eah-eah
It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love

Ey.
Ey.
Ey.
Ey.
(Woah-oah-ah-oh, ey.)

General CommentPfft! I did say "something like", yeah-eah-eah.

But yeah, the song pretty much speaks for itself, loving in a world full of hate takes some balls/bones/muscle, especially when shit ain't exactly going your way.

Ps. It's "worse than sad" :D

Song MeaningSuch a good cover. I think I like it better than the original (Spectral Display, if anyone's wondering). Based on the original lyrics I think the current ones posted are correct except I THINK it's "the fear got in me, it got in me deep". Not sure.

As to meaning it's pretty straightforward. "It takes a muscle to fall in love" is a very clever phrase. The heart is made up of cardiac muscle tissue, so the singer is saying "it takes a heart to fall in love." Since the lyrics are also about heartbreak, it has a double meaning of "it takes strength to fall in love." Sometimes love hurts you immensely, but you have to be strong and get through it. I think that's the message behind the song. It hits home.

Lyric CorrectionA good start, but you're a bit off. Should be something like:

When everybody leaves you lonely, times are west and sad
and the world is pulling on your hair.
Just remember that for all you know, good or bad come morning,
you're gonna live tomorrow, if you don't die today.

It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love, yeah-eah-eah
It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love

Now the fear got in me, it's gotten me deep,
that's where it's gonna stay and never leave.
Someone come lay my worry, someone come kill my pain,
someone come and put me on my feet again.

It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love, yeah-eah-eah
It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love

We gotta love one another, that's what the good man say,
but I got too much trouble going round my head.
Someone come and pick up my love, take it all away
'cause I could break down tomorrow if I don't die today.

It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love, yeah-eah-eah
It takes a muscle to fall in love
It takes a muscle to fall in love

General CommentIt is about the young rushing into lust now days and mistaking it for lust. to me she is saying it take a muscle to REALLY fall inlove. and she is say to take it slower. (your gonna live tomoro, if you dont die today) and at the end i believe she is saying AIDS. not aye.. but thats just my view on it.
