I've had enough sleepless nights for a lifetime. Grasping the phone as an arbitrary lifeline. the singular truth of the now, while we're here. I see the heart in your eyes close as you're blinded by your fears. All I've got inside is a broken heart and the stings of pride. The confusion sets in, I hang my head and watch doubts multiply. When you choose to redirect your views I just cease to exist. I've spent time in the front of my mind, reliving the reality I never hoped to find. As the wax flows, it's cast in stone, thy will is said and done. The descent after attempts, flying is too close to the sun. All I've got inside is a bleeding heart and these useless lies. Day in, day out, I tell myself, "things will be alright." When you choose to redirect your views, I just cease to exist. I cease to exist.
